Pagers alerted West Grove firefighters and EMTs and Medic 94 paramedics of a possible serious crash in London Britain Township at 3:59am Tuesday morning.

The dispatch reported an overturned vehicle, with a subject trapped, with the car potentially on fire. This news had first responders making a fast response to the call on the lower section of Flint Hill Road, between Strickersville Road and Elbow Lane. The WGFC responded with Engine 22-1, Ladder 22 and Tanker 22 from West Grove, Rescue 22 from New London, Engine 22-3 from London Britain and both ambulances. Medic 94 responded with both paramedic units.

Engine 22-3 arrived on scene and reported on overturned vehicle -- and no victim at the scene. There was no entrapment on the heavily damaged vehicle, and no fire. The PA State Police arrived and all first responders began to search the area around the crash scene in an attempt to find the missing operator. That person was discovered in a nearby field and handled by the PA State Police.

WGFC and Medic 94 units cleared the scene after about 40 minutes.
