Penn Township's Annual Fall Festival took place Saturday, despite gloomy, rainy weather, and the West Grove Fire Company was on hand.
Proudly displaying Tanker 22, Engine 22-1, a chief's command vehicle, and Ladder 22, the 15 volunteer and career firefighters braved a steady rain to distribute children's firefighter hats, chip clips, and fire safety information to several hundred visitors. Inside the Township building, a fire company team submitted "Firefighter Red MacBurney" to a pumpkin display, fully decorated with WGFC paraphernalia.
Our thanks to the Penn Township staff and supervisors for putting together a great event that was successful despite the weather. And thanks too to all the residents and visitors who took time to stop by the WGFC display. See you next year!
