An area resident completed her dream to become a doctor, graduating from medical school after starting her "career" as a volunteer at the West Grove Fire Company.

Lauren Mazur was exposed to the work of emergency room physicians as she observed their work during her time as a volunteer on WGFC's ambulances. And her father Todd is also a Physician Assistant for Penn Medicine, and he also volunteers at the WGFC.

The full details of this story can be found in a recent article in the Daily Local News (see link below). Everyone at the WGFC is proud of Lauren and offer our congratulations on her completion of medical school. Lauren will complete her medical training as a resident physician in pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
