The West Grove Fire Company is quite fortunate to have such strong support from the municipalities it serves, and the relationships with township officials span the history of the fire company and this community.
Helping each other out comes naturally to the fire company and township employees in mutual service of the community. Such was the case this week when Ryan Mullin, London Britain Township's Roadmaster needed help unclogging a roadside culvert pipe.
WGFC provided the solution with Engine 22-3 based in London Britain. 1000 gallons of water delivered at pressure from the fire engine cleared a muddy, rock-filled clog, solving a flooding problem for an area resident on Southbank Road and helping the road crew avoid a more complex solution. |
