Kemblesville Crash

Saturday morning started early for the West Grove Fire Company with a 7:03am dispatch for a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Appleton Road and Route 896 in Franklin Township.

The WGFC responded with two ambulances, along with Engine 22-1, Squad 22, and Engine 22-3, along with fire police. Two vehicles hit head on in the middle of the intersection, with the southbound lane fully blocked. Ambulance crews began evaluating patients, with Engine 22-3 arriving to secure the scene, handle leaking fluids and secure the battery on a damaged mini-van. One patient was transported to the hospital.

Fire police handled traffic, managing to keep one lane of travel flowing through the emergency scene. Squad 22 first responders assisted the engine crew with scene cleanup, and 22 units cleared the scene in 45 minutes.
