Oxford, West Grove and other fire companies handled a small attic fire above apartments in Oxford Borough Saturday night.

| West Grove units joined other area companies in assisting the Union Fire Company of Oxford (21) on a building fire late Friday night in Oxford Borough.
An initial call for an automatic fire alarm was upgraded when smoke was seen in Building 6 of the Whitehall Acres apartments. Arriving units found smoke on the second floor and extinguished a small fire in the attic area. WGFC units assisted on the roof and interior. Units were on scene for about an hour.
