Sunday evening's emergency call was a two vehicle crash on Route 896 at Violet Lane (across from the Avon Grove Intermediate School).
West Grove Fire Company's responders were dispatched just before 730pm after one of the WGFC Ambulances and Medic 94 came across the crash on the way back from another call. After the dispatch, Engine 22-1, Engine 22-2, Engine 22-3, Rescue 22, Utility 22, an additional WGFC Ambulance and Fire Police all responded.
The crash involved two SUVs, with one pulling a trailer. With lots of air bags deployed and damage to the two vehicles, the force of the crash was evident, with the incident blocking southbound Route 896 and Violet Lane.
Ambulance and Medic crews evaluated patients, with the fire crews sweeping up debris, and the Fire Pollice keeping a single lane of traffic flowing. West Grove crews cleared the incident after 75 minutes.
