Early on Tuesday morning, West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to assist Singerly Fire Company of Elkton, MD for a house fire.

Dispatched at 8:44am, Cecil County requested assistance from West Grove on a dwelling fire on Sycamore Road in a residential development north east of Elkton off of Maryland 277. Units from Newark and Elkton arrived to find heavy fire through the roof of the small home.

West Grove responded with Engine 22-1, which arrived to assist the units with extensive overhaul. Units cleared around 10:30am.
