WGFC Responds to Gas Leak in London Grove Township
A buried natural gas service line was cut during an excavation at a residence on School House Road. WGFC responded and stood by until PECO could clamp the line.

The West Grove Fire Company responded to a natural gas leak in London Grove Township on Saturday.
A 1-inch buried natural gas line was cut during an excavation project creating a leak. Power was cut to the home and the residence evacuated. WGFC responded with Engine 22-1, Engine 22-3, Utility 22-3 and Ladder 22 to provide a safety standby until PECO workers could arrive and clamp the leaking line.
WGFC crews were on scene for approximately 90 minutes.
