The West Grove Fire Company was called to Old Baltimore Pike near Route 41 for multiple vehicles on fire on Monday morning.
Multiple callers to the County 911 Center reported a vehicle fire at the Avondale Auto Service just before 911. Responding Engine 22-1 was then advised that there might be multiple cars on fire. Also responding was Tanker 22, Engine 22-2 and Engine 22-3, as well as ambulance and the fire police.
Engine 22-1 went on location with two vehicles burning about 20 feet from the building, and went in service with an attack line. In minutes, the Engine had the fire under control, with no damage to the nearby building.
West Grove units were on scene for about 45 minutes. There were no injuries.
