This was the scene where 75 firefighters battled a tragic Christmas morning house fire near Elkton, MD.

West Grove Fire Company responded to assist Singerly Fire Company of Elkton on Christmas morning for a house fire on Willow Drive in Cecil County.
The call was dispatched at 7:39am for a fire with possible entrapment. Initial Elkton units found heavy fire at the front and rear on arrival. WGFC Engines 22-1 and 22-3 assisted Singerly, along with companies from three states, with nearly 75 firefighters on scene. WGFC units were in service for about two hours.
