Early on Friday morning, the West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Union Fire Company of Oxford on a reported structure fire on South Fifth Street in Oxford Borough.
The house fire dispatch at 6:16am for Oxford included units from neighboring fire companies in addition to West Grove, and was reported to be a fire in a greenhouse possibly spreading to the adjacent residence. Ultimately the fire was knocked down without extension to the house and incident was scaled back.
WGFC's Squad 22 operated on scene with the second due engine assignment with Engine 21-1 in the back alley off of 5th Avenue.
