A little fire department pump pressure and the culvert pipe is now flowing again.
The clogged stormwater drain on Good Hope Road and Ridgewood Drive proved stubborn, but ultimately was cleared.

There is a strong, long-term partnership between the West Grove Fire Company and London Britain Township...and that extends to the Township road crew who have worked so well with our first responders over the years.
Thursday morning, the crew asked the fire company for assistance in clearing debris from underground drainage pipes that allow storm water to flow under township roads. Engine 22-3 was perfect for the job, with 1,000 gallons of water and a powerful pump. Working closely with the road crew, Engine 3 was used to clean out storm water pipes under Flint Hill Road and Indiantown Road, as well at the entrance to the Ridgewood development along Good Hope Road.
1000 gallons later (and some wet road crew workers) the storm water drains were cleared and flowing again. Our continued thanks to the London Britain Township road crew for their partnership...and glad to provide a little fire company water pressure to get the job done!
