Each year, the Assumption BVM School in West Grove holds an auction to raise funds to support the school and it's programs. One of the auction items was a ride to school on a West Grove Fire Company engine, and the Friedman family placed the winning bid.
Last week, Engine 3 picked up the girls and their father for a 15 minute ride to the school. Not only was that a new experience - complete with yellow WGFC fire hats as souvenirs, but the entire school student body was waiting for their arrival, complete with a lights and siren approach.
We are proud to help support our community and have a long-standing relationship with the Assumption School.
