Join us as the London Grove Friends of the Park hold a "Meet Your Neighbors" Picnic this Saturday at Goddard Park in West Grove. First responders from both the West Grove and Avondale fire companies will be displaying equipment and offering kids tours and fire prevention information. The event will be August 29 from 11am to 1pm. Goddard Park is at the intersection of State Road and Route 841.
Both fire companies will be displaying together as they partner to merge their operations into a new department known as Southern Chester County Fire Rescue. Station 26 is expected to begin operations on January 1, 2027. Come to the event and learn about the merger and bring your questions. Click on the link below for more information about SCCFR.
